About Attorney Tim Sechler

Tim’s estate planning practice is focused on guiding clients through the complicated maze of balancing transfer strategies, wealth preservation, and family values in the planning process.

Tim is a Combat Veteran, having served in Afghanistan as a member of the West Virginia Air National Guard. Prior to leaving the military, Tim had attained the rank of Staff Sergeant. His experiences in the military have led him to thoroughly enjoy working with Veterans and their families.

Tim received his law degree from Duquesne University School of Law, and his Master of Business Administration from the Duquesne University Donahue Graduate School of Business. He received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from West Virginia University, majoring in Finance. Tim is licensed to practice Law in Pennsylvania and West Virginia.

Recently, Tim has been seen frequently as a guest on KDKA’s Pittsburgh Today Live, and has been quoted in several local print publications. For the last several years, he has been honored to be chosen as a Super Lawyers Rising Star, an award given to less than 2.5% of Tim’s peers. Tim enjoys educating the public about Elder Law and Estate Planning. He has spoken to thousands of people regarding estate planning and has averaged more than 50 speaking events per year.

Tim and his wife, Robyn, are raising three beautiful children in their home in Mars, PA.

About Attorney Bill Taylor

Prior to joining Sechler Law Firm, Bill was a Military Police Officer in the United States Army (1986-1990) and (USAR 1995-1996). Bill has worked as an attorney for a financial service company assisting the company’s high net worth clients with their estate planning, financial and tax needs as well as a Senior Attorney for the New York State Department of Taxation and Finance, Office of Counsel, in its Legislative and Opinions section.

Born and raised in the suburbs of Boston, Bill is a fan of the Boston Red Sox’s and, sorry, Pittsburgh Steelers fans, but yes, the New England Patriots. Thankfully however, Bill is a Penguins fan! When not working, Bill enjoys running with his wife Christine and their pack of dogs. When he gets the chance he enjoys snowboarding in Colorado.

About Cathy Krebs

Cathy is the firm’s Paralegal, assisting the attorneys with estate planning and medicaid benefits. She has over 20 years of law firm experience in the fields of estate and trust administration and estate planning. She enjoys working closely with the firm’s clients to navigate the medicaid maze.

In her free time, Cathy enjoys the outdoors and reading.

About Kristal Scarito

Kristal is the Client Services Director at Sechler Law Firm. She enjoys the day to day interaction with clients and takes pride in helping guide them through the Estate Planning process.

Originally from Ohio, Kristal now calls Mars, PA home. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her husband and two kids, watching The Ohio State Buckeyes Football with friends, and spending time outdoors.

About Robyn Sechler

Robyn’s main role at the Law Firm is community outreach but she assist with workshops and client services as well. She enjoys educating those in and around the area about the importance of planning for the future.

Prior to working at Sechler Law Firm, Robyn worked as a registered dietitian at Children’s Hospital in Pittsburgh for 10 years.

Robyn was born and raised in Pittsburgh and now calls Mars home with her husband Tim, and three children. Robyn enjoys cooking, reading and staying active.

About Meredith Glendening

Meredith assists with daily operations at Sechler Law Firm, LLC, by coordinating workshops, website management, marketing functions and client scheduling. She finds the most important and satisfying part of her job is helping families understand the importance of estate planning, and the impact it can have on the future. That’s why you’ll see her at almost every educational workshop and event.

Meredith is a native to the Western PA, and calls her 65 acre farm home. She enjoys spending time gardening, sewing, and hiking with her husband and two dogs.
